HOUSE BILL NO. 73 An Act extending the termination dates of                    
the salmon marketing programs of the Alaska Seafood Marketing                  
Institute and the salmon marketing assessment; and providing for an

Senator Halford, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the              
adoption of the Resources Senate Committee Substitute offered on               
page 4111. Senator Mackie objected.                                            
                                                                               
Senator Pearce called the Senate. The call was satisfied.                      
                                                                               
The question being: Shall the Resources Senate Committee

BILL NO. 73 be advanced to third reading and placed on final                   
passage. Without objection, it was so ordered.                                
                                                                               
HOUSE BILL NO. 73 was read the third time.                                    
                                                                               
Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent that he be                     
allowed to abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest.              
Objections were heard and Senator Leman was required to vote.

by the President and Secretary and returned to the House.
